In case you missed it, the original post is here:

I, for one, am jazzed that the AICOM sculpts will finally see the light of day. Oh what a glorious birthday this is starting to be!

And even if they think ideas that are contrary to ours, their right to say them, their right to record them, and their right to have them at places where they're accessible to others is unquestioned, or it's not America." —Dwight David Eisenhower

Happy Birthday.

The initial release in June will feature 8 SKUs. 4 of those are being shown right now (the two-gun male is near-future, the two-gun female is roughly modern/near future, the soldiers are sci-fi/future, and the cowgirl green (by Bob Ridolfi - great job!) is western/historical) showcasing a sample of the genres we intend to cover - though only a small smaple indeed. Each month thereafter we will release 4 more SKUs. We will periodically examine the business and sales model and see if more SKUs need ot be added to keep up with demand. (For those who do not recall, DHL was launched the exact same way, with the models per month rising gradually to keep up with rising demand).

We expect to have a limited run of the first 8 models for purchase at ReaperCon.

In addition, we will be announcing a Release Contest soon that could help one lucky entrant win a bunch of these figures. More on that later...

And I anticipate that before too much longer there will be models that don't have guns but have chainsaws and baseball bats and the like.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread and try to answer any other questions you may have...

After years of being told "Nope, Reaper will never make modern or sci-fi figures" all I can say is

IT'S ABOUT DAMN TIME!

The previews look amazing and I can't wait to get them in my hands.
It's not broken.... it's a conversion.

So I go to cover my Pather Time and Lunch Duty and come back to quicky check before I do my work and I see this......does the happy dance.

Are the prices going to be comparable to Dark Heaven? 3-4.99 per single fig and 3.50-4.49 for multi figs?

SOON is NOW!!!!

Terrific news! I think this will make a wonderful addition to the Reaper lines and I hope it helps out a lot of RPers who were lacking figure options.

Exactly, my Star Mogul salvage gang needs a leader.

Oh the possibilities.

Bryan, will the line include Adventuring accessories and terrain bits, similar to DHL, and where do I send wings?

Also, who's going to reapercon that wouldn't mind buying the first eight for me? Pretty please with a kitten on top?

Man, this is great news! Finally, an American manufacturer with quality moderns, futures and cowboys that I'll be able to (hopefully) acquire with relative ease and no more expense than I usually put out for my Reapers every month.

I mean, I love my Foundrys and my Hasslefrees and my Copplestones and my Artizans. But man, they were breaking the bank! And we rarely can get them around here, as most of the best are in Britain.

Hmm... the one issue will be scale. If these are to Reaper scale, they're not going to fit in well with some of the smaller Foundry models and most of the Copplestones. Still, it'll be great to have the resource!

NO! *SLAPS HAND*

Bad Bruunwald. Foundry is the GW of the historical world. You must either hate foundr, or accept the fact it is an abusive relationship....

On topic - I am super excited myself. I'd love some see some characterful British colonials.

Fantastic news! I'm crazy with excitment! I'll buy at least one of everything. This is a big, cool step for Reaper and I hope with all my heart this line explodes and they put out more and more. My next vote: make some future robots.

Release contests are fun! I always like it when someone I know wins! That's because I have yet to win anything myself so I revel in other's good fortune.

I've been cross-posting the news release a bit. Yay Reaper!
