Here's the other one I've worked on since being off for rest and recovery. This is an old Grenadier Gnome Illusionist, also from the same Specialists set. I've had this one for a while, but haven't ever gotten around to painting him. I wanted to make kind of psychedelic robes, being he is an illusionist, but don't know how well I succeeded. I think the bottom part turned out better than the arms. I wanted this type of rainbow effect, but who knows how well he turned out. In any case, I'm also adding a photo of the original Gnome illusionist I did way back in prehistory, probably around 1982 when I was in my very early teens. Hopefully you see some sign of improvement!
