Hello All,
I have began work on 2"x2" base for a Warlord Miniature, and I have realized the typical flock isn't going to 'do it'. I see Woodland Scenics make some great underbrush material. My first question is has anyone had experience with this underbrush and if so can you pass on any advice.
My other question is how to create vines and the such?

Ok, you want to create realistic looking vines correct?
First off, find some nice paper wrapped florist wire, and cut and shape this to the dimension you want your vines. Second paint it green, then drybrush over it in brown. You now have your basic vine.
Now what you are going to do for the foliage will depend on what kind of vine you want. For a vine with small leaves I suggest dotting the length fo the wire with elmers then sprinkling on Italian seasoning or basil. For larger leaves, Try taking some of woodland sceneics foliage and glueing that onto the vine, or, get larger pieces of basil.
If you are feeling highly adventurous, go into the scrapbooking secton of a local craft store and get a paper punch that punches in a tiny leaf shape and punch out a few hundred of those and then adhere those with elmers to your vine.
Hope that helps!
