I'm painting this guy up for a PC in one of my campaigns. He's a Callarii elf from Karameikos (for those of you familiar with Mystara). I've painted up the rest of the party already: a rogue, a fighter, and a cleric. The dominant colors so far have been dark browns, goblin green, dark yellow, and linen white. The Callarii are forest elves (as opposed to WH High Elf types). They are almost all blond/blue in coloration, too.

What I'm wanting to do is paint this last guy so he doesn't look too different from the others (from same culture, etc.), but I'm getting sick of all the green! Any ideas?

Pastel blue robes with yellow edging/details.....you know what you get if you mix yellow and blue,that will help you keep your theme,or at least that is what people's brains will tell them when viewed next to the rest of the party

Green isn't the only great forest color. I like to paint rangers in warm greys and browns. Burnt Orange and Yellow is good too as a Fall colored forest elf.

Maybe paint all that wacky trim green and use the mahogany browns (redish) for the robes. They paint his under cloak thingy in something like a light silvery type gray. Go with the blonde hair, I'd go rosy skin, blue eyes. Maybe a lighter wood for his staff? That's just my 2 cents, take it or leave it as you choose. Good luck
