Lying in bed the covers a comforting weight, the sleeper slowly drifts off to the sound of the town bells,
ringing. A breeze rustles the curtains, creaking the shutters as the sleeper, falls into slumber. The
warm blackness provides a cozy falling sensation, as thoughts and images appear to the sleeper as
the dreaming hours approach.

Colours bloom as a day is remembered. A day like none before and never again. The flowers flowing
in the sunshine. Animals playing in the lazy summer day. Now a city, basking in the warm afternoon
light. A flash, some noise. Now it's a chase, the sleeper doesn't know what for or why. Just that the
fleeing shadow must be caught.

BANG! The sleeper fires the gun that just appeared in their hand, but the bullet travels through the warm
air like treacle, it flops to the ground well short of it's target like overcooked pasta. The shadow escapes,
but the sleeper dreams on content. It wasn't important anyway.

A new dream emerges, pale and pink in the warm fuzzieness of sleep. A sense of passion, a sense of
completeness. Back in the world the sleeper rolls over, their arm gently falling over their partners side.
