Anyone recall title of monster book illustrated in green and black? Was for children.
It's from the late 1960s or early 1970s. My searches for "How to make a monster" didn't yield much but I was so certain that that was the title.
It looks sort of glow in the dark.

Me too. Norman Bridwell had a kind of quietly amusing subversive humor (which I'm not entirely sure has been carried through into the modern Clifford the Big Red Dog stuff).

Holy moly, I remember that book! It's one of the books my mom had from her childhood
