Hi folks, first time posting my work here hope you guys like it

After about a half year break of painting minis I started to pick it back up again.

Here we have

Angelica Fairweather



I think she turned out pretty good, though I think the skin could of had more depth to it and the I think I should have tone down on the washing on the finer details
She took a good part of the day to finsih



Sir Titus, Guardian Knight



Can't really say much about him, pretty quick and easy if the mini is mostly armor. Finished it in about half the time it took Angelica Fairweather


I can't say this my best work I have a few minis I painted last year that were better but I there is always room to improve and learn. Still have over 50+ reaper minis unpainted.

Citiques are always welcome as I'd like to improve

I suspect that the photos aren't doing the painting justice. The polystyrene tile behind is quite yellow which leads me to believe the other colours are distorted too.

Having said that I really like how you've painted them, and despite the Knight being a relatively straightforward paint job I think you've done a great job on it. The only critique (other than the photo) would be the colour of the hair look a bit unnatural but that might also be due to the colour distortion.

The white background blows out color. You should have a medium neutral behind them for starters.

Finally, crack your camera's manual and set white balance. If you can't, then get GIMP (it's free) and set 'auto white balance'.

Those edited pictured really brought out the colours Thanks

I do have a few small boxes laying around here that'll be perfect to make a light box, just need to buy a small lamp now
