Any substitutes for the DAP sealer? For the dice box, I'm thinking a paper clips holder might also work.

There is a Frost Spray paint, Rust-oleum brand "Specialty Frosted Glass" is what I have, that you could use on the "box" for a Frozen cube look, for the look in the tutorial you might attempt a thin layer of hot Glue, spread in the same way.
