It's more the hollowing out the lantern as you'd also have to remove all the sides as well (so the light could actually leave) and it would be a 100x easier to just scratch build something to do that instead of trying to hollow out a small piece of metal. And, as I mentioned earlier, I just don't have the time to go do that.

Love the project! But sad that you won't pick up anymore CSM minis. They have gotten MUCH better over the course of the last year. Better sculptors like Patrick Keith, Frederico and Nicolas Genovese, Jason Wiebe and others.

Appreciate the like. While my issue with CSM stemmed from their sculpt quality I'm still concerned about their lack of ability to deliver on kickstarters as well. Once people get their stuff and can comment on the quality and how they felt about CSM's handling of everything in general I might reconsider.
I'm pretty much done, sorry for the crappy picture but it's late and I don't care to spend anymore time on getting a decent one. I'll set up my light box tomorrow before I seal these two and then it's assembling everything. Shouldn't be too much of an issue--hopefully.
I never thought I'd write this...but I agree with MonkeySloth on this one. ~ Adrift
