Push some dead things, Mikey, dead things into the greenstuff (two skulls and a rib cage).
I read that and wondered ... "Did I miss something?" ... took another look at the mini and then perplexed at my poor eyesight continued reading.
Too bad about the skulls. Sorry, but I had a time of it trying to see the ribcage in there. These tired ol' eyes I have ...
BUT the bloody snow looks great. You achieved the snow cone effect. Some solid flecks for bits that don't thin in the snow and drop to a lower layer would seal the deal. I've seen a couple of deer taken down by coyotes in the snow up here in New York. There's always a few dark bits left in the snow.
Something else to consider next time ... a little dark pink wash after you put down the first layer of blood to slightly blur the harder edges of your castings out in the snow. That will get you a better transition around where it forks.
