I've got a 12-inch light tent and a couple of table top daylight stands.
Still learning to take better photos, I'm pretty happy with the result. : )
I used to take photos outdoors on an overcast day or in the shade before noon.
I did her WIP back in August. Comments and/or criticism are welcome.

The new photography really shows off your nice work.

Current Bones Count:  Total:  112  Painted:  81

Buglips, that is just epic, and so very wrong.

While I think your previous photo method was more challenging, the new method does show your BEAUTIFULLY painted & based mini Miss off to advantage...the pink is quite striking. VERY WELL DONE on all counts.

I dunno, but if somebody would gift one to me I might have a shot at getting all my minis done. :upside:

Gorgeous! I love the cool colors and the subtle base detail of a few autumn leaves. Where did you get your light tent if I may ask? I need to better my picture taking.

 Thanks Buglips, Fruggs, malefactus, CashWiley, DSModels for your nice comments.

* 12-inch light tent, I paid about $15 at Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.co...inch+light+tent
* Table top lighting kit, I paid about $40 also at Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.co...S/ref=pd_cp_p_3
* It is good to read 'Photographing Arts, Crafts & Collectables' by Steve Meltzer.

I own a Canon DSLR, and a portable Nikon digital camera, but I like using iPhone
to take figure photos. Somehow phone camera gets better focus on small objects...
(I'm still learning to level up the world of miniature photography.)

I placed the light tent & the lights on a bookshelf. I'm planning on surrounding the shelf in white.

Yes, Corporea. Jennifer Haley gave them to me for free at a Paint & Take station when I was just starting to paint.
Isn't she nice? I've kept them for years, I've never ever used them until recently.

Evergrin the Photos look great, and it brings even more of the detials out on the fig. I liked it before in your original post and even more now. I really like that lightbox and may put my plans on making one out of a milk crate on hold and just order that one you posted. Although the one you show gave me another way of approach on making my own.

Beautiful mini, beautiful photos. The cool browns on her vest and pants are really nicely done. Thanks for sharing.

Index of my Show-Off minis. Current workbench: Complete the box set of RP Draconians; Finish NPCs/boss monsters for my currently on-hiatus Eberron campaign. Backburnered (but not shelved): finish Master Series Maria Roseblade; complete 35pt Legion of Everblight army.
