I have been considering that same question Accept in the "Shreveport/Bossier" area of N. Louisiana 
?

Well, its not Plano, but there is a group that plays up at Reaper HQ every Friday night. There is also a group that plays in Grapevine about once a month.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

I will refrain from the obvious barb. What I can say, is that getting a core group is often not easy, especially if your local stores are dominated by other games. Keep plugging away at it, and eventually you'll get a couple loyal players that you can try to build from.
Or, come visit Houston this weekend. We'll be at Asgard all afternoon on Sunday, playing Warlord. I even promise not to beat up on your dudes.

I know there was a fairly large group that used to play in Richardson at a store off Coit road - Gamers Realm? That store has closed down, I wonder if anyone has news on if that store moved or if those players are still in the area?

That was the store with the big mural map on the back wall and assorted steampunk gear as decor and for sale?

I joined in that group for a while. The store closed and never re opened as far as I know.
Some of the players from that group play with us over in Grapevine at Area 51. Sometimes we get together up at Reaper. PM me your email address and I will email you more details.
