Awesome! It'd be great to see something like this as a Chronoscope model -- some steampunk field artillery to go with our steampunk/Victoriana Chronoscope forces. It's hard to say, but I think the lower-right one is my favorite, for the flanged "ray-gun" look to the cannon nozzle, and the visible gears sticking up (because everything's extra-steampunky with gears). I'm wondering if the middle-right one has wheels from those wedding party-favor carriages you were turning into steampunk vehicles and such a while back?

Please tell me you can get components for these in a hardware store.

Top right is pure business. My favourite.

Let's see about bits used. The basic idea is the same across all of them, but they're all different.

--The barrels are the little screw shafts you get in computer cables to attach the plugs to the back of the computer.

--Some of the muzzles are the screw bits that the above screw into, but mostly they're springs or whatever I could find that fit. Seriously, this was the hardest part.

--The wheels on the back and some of the mountings up front are parts ripped out of old VHS tapes.

--The wheels are either off those victorian carriages I've been using for steam-wagons, or they're computer cable/wire wrapped around the plates out of a VCR motor.

--The capacitors are all capacitors.

--Most other stuff is whatever I could find laying around, and is most likely ripped out of a cigarette lighter.

Very fun! I love seeing random objects around the house being incorporated into new pieces.

That, and of course, Steampunk! ^__^
