Buglips you do realise that this means there are coffee grains in that can that, by stealth, deception and shameless manipulation of the law of averages, has been in there since the very beginning.

Its probably turning into Proto-Coffee of Doom now. If you were ever to trick it into actually being used the resultant toxic gunk would kill you stone dead, burn a hole through the earth and possibly have its own submicroscopic civilization living on it.

But on the other hand, coffee is coffee and whats life without a little risk.

Of course I know it's Mutant Blend. How do you think I came to be the way I am? When I get up in the morning, for like the first ten minutes before the percolations are finished? I'm as normal as anybody can ask for.

But after one cup, just one cup, of my magic go-go joe-joe juice then I'm all crazy and making up things like this sentence.

So really, any time I type something that gets a laugh it's not me - it's the mutant brain spores from my proto-coffee.

Buglips, that is just epic, and so very wrong.

I was waiting to see Pratchett quoted.

After a while, the time will suddenly come that disease or the sword's edge will cut off your power. Either fire's grasp or flood's surge or blade's bite or spear's flight. Or vicious age, or the flash of your eyes will gutter and burn out! It will be all at once, great campaigner, that death will overpower you.

It's terrifying!  Without enough caffeine your body undergoes these hours of partial paralysis and hallucinations! :shudder:

@Reaper People.

This delay really is not a problem. It simply means that instead of avoiding painting my minis at the end of the month, I'll now avoid painting them in March. I'm something at an expert at it. There are minis I've been avoiding painting for over 30 years.

Some might even suggest such a delay will help make it it even easier for me not to paint my minis. So it all works out.

;)

Yeah, for me it just means I get to put off staring (sigh) at a larger pile of unpainted minis until next year.

As there are so many people that don't care about the paint delay and those that do it's unfortunate the pledge manager didn't have the following options for paint:

1) I need my paints now
2) I can wait
3) send them when they're ready but hopefully before March

That way those that were planning on having paints this month could possibly get them or at least there could be a priority list for them.

No - clearly we're the big evil mega-corp messing with your heads for the funof it

Yeah, you can join the farmers who ruin nature and render their farms useless, because they hate children and the future.

(And the politicians who are deliberately ruining the country for unspecified but nefarious reasons... and the companies who outsource to China so they can watch US workers' children cry themselves to sleep at night. The foresters who want to destroy all the forests, they're another notorious enemy of all right-thinking people.)

It's almost like the less you know about someone the less you empathise with them, and the less you know about doing a thing the more plausible your notions of how it should be done seem.

Naturally, he died because a wizard exploded.

Scientifically codified in the "Dunning-Kruger Effect":
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect

(from the article)

"Kruger and Dunning proposed that, for a given skill, incompetent people will:
  • tend to overestimate their own level of skill;
  • fail to recognize genuine skill in others;
  • fail to recognize the extremity of their inadequacy;
  • recognize and acknowledge their own previous lack of skill, if they are exposed to training for that skill"

Well I've seen plenty of examples of the first three,
far less of the fourth :wacko:

No one is ever left wanting on Reaper's forums, Dag-nabbit!

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
