Also, I'd really like to see them offer their existing models as $ add-ons (especially the demons/devils to go with the Center Stage KS).

I can't tell you what they will look like since I haven't received the art for them, but I will be bringing my regular sculpt-fu to the table. Hopefully they won't have gigantic heads. :)

Would it help to mention that I'll be sculpting all of the female adventurers?

You are? Ooh, that sounds better already.
To be honest, I kind of like their designs. They look like actual guys out to dungeon crawl, more human than epic. But the lack of any visible female minis was worrisome.

Yeah I'm really excited at the mid-dungeon crawl look. The cross on that one doesn't bother me, but then I wrote a lot of my mythology to use symbols similar to real world ones, e.g. the church of the Shadowlands has sword shaped churches, which lets me use cross/sword shapped things. They also have a chalice that has been lost for ages (until about three sessions ago anyway). I go for gritty/realistic over epic high fantasy anyway, so the look of these adventurers is awsome to me.
That the 25th of August shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered-
We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that pledges his cash with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And foolish men playing with thier Space Marines
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their painting cheap while any speaks
That pledged with us upon Reaper's Kickstarter day.

A few other factors for me...figures like the monk are a total waste for me (I always thought that was silly in a western european environment). But more importantly, I, a) want to see their concept of the Demi-humans before I commit and b) I want this Kickstarter to finally be my opportunity to get some of their already produced models at a halfway reasonable price (demons/devils most of all).
All nit-picks, I know, but with the money I've already spent in the last 90 days, I can afford to be...

products for you all.
Since the campaign launched, we have secured the services of some new sculptors, including David Soderquist of Bronze Age Miniatures (he’ll be working on the Halflings, Gnomes & Dwarves), and John Winter of Tin Man Miniatures (some females and Elves).
The rapid success of the campaign has also meant that we’ve had to come up with some new stretch goal bonuses for our supporters, beyond the initial $20k level. They will be:
1) At $25k – Level 4+ – A pair of War/Guard Dogs – 1 sitting, 1 standing, wearing studded leather collars & harness
2) At $30k – Level 7 only – Adventurers’ Stores – Crates, boxes, chests, sacks, barrels
3) At $35k – Level 5+ – Magic Users’ Familiars (standard) – cat, crow, hawk, owl, toad, weasel
4) At $40k – Level 5+ – Magic Users’ Familiars (special) – quasit, pseudo-dragon, brownie, imp

Have to say that I'm more than a bit disappointed that Patrick won't be sculpting all the females after all.
It just means continuing to hold off on backing this till I see more greens.
Have you checked out Tin Man Miniatures site? John does some lovely, lovely ladies, and he has a great old school, 1970s sort of style (take a gander at the awesome sideburns his John Carter expy is sporting). I have absolutely no use for Barsoomian heroes and heroines, and yet somehow have ended up owning all of his ERB-inspired models. I have absolute faith in his ability to deliver.
It's also awesome that David is going to be doing some work on this line. I didn't even know he took commissions.

Yes I did look up his work. It has a certain style, but I don't find it has the same level of detail that I expect from Patricks work.
Unless I know how much of the line will be done by each sculptor, I'd find it very difficult to back this project.

The Tin Man miniatures are nice, but I was hoping for my gold standard of female figures with the same level of practicality and personality as the male ones. Otherworld's *male* designs look very practical, sort of how actual adventurers would kit themselves out, and also with distinct personalities, which gives me hope, sort of.

Not a kickstarter but same thing.
Please be aware that this isn't a pledge, it's a donation. After you've
contributed you can't change your mind and lower or cancel your
donation. With this your funds are gone whether the project makes
its goals or not.
Not the same thing at all.
