Are there any photographs of all the reaper giants together. I'd like to see size comparisons of the giants against each other?

Or

A giant with a 28mm man silhouette next to them.

Anything larger than human size I like to see a standard human size figure to see the size difference.

The best thing I can suggest is to check the Bryangles in the pics of the whites in the online catalog. These are the little triangles on the right-hand side of the photo, and they stand at .5" and 1". Not all models have them (yet?), but they're a good resource.

Also, I'm sure someone, somewhere on this forum, has a bunch of the giants and can snap photos at some point.

Also also, here's a good size comparison of the KS bones minis, including the giants: http://www.reapermin...post__p__634771. This is a photoshopped approximation, so take it with a grain of salt, but it's nicely done and seems fairly accurate for the minis that aren't concept art.

I've got several scale pics from the KS project in the Kickstarter Links thread, including one of the Undead Giant and the Fire Giant warrior. When I have the opportunity, I'd be glad to take a pic of the other two Fire Giants, as well as all 4 Frost Giant sculpts. I also can add the Hill Giant and Stone Giant if you want.

Cheers guys looked at the image of all the KS stuff scaled. There's quite a variation in giant sizes e.g. the bone giant is virtually double the height of a normal giant.

Yes, that model is massive compared to the normal giants.

I'm going to assume that most of the Giants are sculpted on a very similiar scale (excluding the Bone Giant aka the Colossial Skeleton). That being said the link below is to the green sculpt of the new Storm Giant which includes a regular scale model standing next to him.

Pretty much. The Hill Giant is definitely bulkier, and the Stone Giant is definitely less so, but all in all, they come out pretty similar in height.

Excellent that they have done that, you really get the sense of scale. Hopefully they will continue to photograph new large miniatures the same, these truly are the best of the reaper giants!

t is a shame al the giants are the same size as in dnd they are all different sizes. I don't know whether to go for the existing fire and land Ice giants or hope that Julie gets to resculpt them.

They won't be as cheap as Bones, but Reaper made some really nice Hill, Frost and Fire giants years ago. While they are all closer to 3E's Huge rather than Large size class, they DO have some of the classic height differences such as the fire giant was shorter than the frost giant if you looked really close. Sadly Reaper didn't make the Stone Giant until Warlord came out and as such he was not as enormous as Blorg, Frorigh or Gunther.

Here is a pic showing how big the Frost and Fire Giants are compared to a man sized figure. The stone giant was an action figure I painted up a while back.

There are no plans at this time to have those models resculpted.

Beyond that, our scales and sizes are not entirely the same as other companies - we have our designs and ideas, they have theirs. we are not a licensed product, and are not required to conform to their descriptions - in fact, legally, we are required to be intellectually distinct. Distinctions include variations in size, armor style, build, and other physical characteristics.

I actually prefer Reaper's take on things for the most part. Despite the fact that I spend godless amounts of treasure on old parthas.

Reaper minis are just . . . more imaginative. And I've been known to alter the "official game creature" to conform instead to the Reaper model.

A displacker beest is pretty cool, but a phase cat gets twice as many chances for hurtin'.

Edited for spelling, because somehow I typed 50% of those words wrong. All the letters were present, just not in the right order.

Buglips, that is just epic, and so very wrong.

:bday: :bday: :bday: Good news everyone! You won't need to wait for a resculpt! Wotc is changing D&D giant sizes! 5E giants are getting much bigger and now there is only a 2' height difference between frost and fire!

Storm: Approximately 22 feet tall
Cloud: Approximately 22 feet tall
Fire: Approximately 18 feet tall
Frost: Approximately 20 feet tall
Stone: Approximately 20 feet tall
Hill: Approximately 18 feet tall

Now Blorg Mudstump, Hill Giant is only slightly short for a D&D hill giant and the titan sized Frorigh, Frost Giant is just right for the official 5E frost giant. I'm pleasantly surprised because it isn't often a new game edition makes a miniature more playable...

Keep in mind that 22' for 28mm models is only 102mm (4") tall.
