This delicious looking robot wench is not candy, but she could pass for it! She's the result of my Color My Mini Experiment, for those of you who don't wander into the WIP section. Colors were voted for by Reaperinos, or random in the case of a tie or 'random' vote.

She's going up on CMON for votes to see what she'll get and to make people's eyes bleed. Will post link when available.

I selected each major area that needed color and made a poll on misterpoll.com. It's free. That gave me 16 questions to make, and for the multiple choice I made 2 completely off the wall color choices, one normal one, and made the last "colour roulette" (I'll pick a paint from my stash with my eyes closed).

Theoretically, a normal scheme could result from the choices. Or something completely mad. For this one I chose a weird looking mini, but it would be more fun with a normal mini.

I might have some Bones in mind for that.

I've been itching to paint something, but I've also been having trouble finding more Bones lately (since everyone is buying them up at my FLGSes!), but maybe I'll get an Ogre Chieftain since they're still available and do a Color My Mini! as well. It just looks like an absolute blast!

Wish I could afford metal minis, but that's part of the reason I never got into the hobby before. Never enough disposable income. But man, I love me some Bones.

Oh, snap! I'm in. But instead of a normal color scheme, I will just make a survey, the same way buglips did. This should be fun!

That'll get lost in the overall Ogre WIP. Works best when it's its own separate thing. The survey, I mean. Plus you need to allow time for voting and such. It's a bit of a pain in the butt to do, actually - but worth it for the laughs.

So if you want in on the Ogre WIP thread, prolly best not to use a poll or do a Color My Mini there. Or if you want to do Color My Ogre instead, do a Color My Mini WIP separately from the Ogre Group WIP.

Not trying to be down on your funtimes, but doing both will get complicated. Each separately may be complicated enough on its own. It'll be madness to combine them. Madness, I say!

Mind you, there's nothing to say you can't just pick your own random colours for the Ogre WIP. It's the survey part that's complicated.

True enough. A lot of valid points. I think I'll just try something unusual, instead of doing a survey for it. Maybe make a fruit loops ogre chieftain. Or do my on color roulette and have him entirely made of random selections!

I'll save the Color My Mini! thread for another time.
