Good evening people of reaper forums

I am hoping that the Reaper community could help me out with this. I am trying to find people who are willing to trade to sell for some of the limited edition Sophie models that were released over the years. I am planning on making a tribute Diorama for one of the up and coming Reapercons. This is more of a personal project to test my painting and models skills. If there is anyone willing to part with a Sophie please private message me on the forum site to see if we can make a deal :;): thank you all for you time and help.

I already own

Hmmm, there is a Pledge Manager coming soon for the now finished Kickstarter that I think has a case of Sophies as one of the choices -

During the Kickstarter itself the set was going for $110. It way be more if you get it using the Pledge Manager.

Hope this helps.

I found several Reapercon 10, 11 sophies in the melt bin at Reapercon 12. I didn't even save any this time 'cause I want mine to be more rare. I found several earlier sophies (bomber, biker, artist, scifi) the year before. Reaper keeps making them so they aren't that collectible/valuable any more. Just big coolness factor.

Just wait until another event happens and Reaper will probably make more (not guaranteed and I hope to be corrected, hint hint reaper bryan). The hardest one to get was the reclining (first) sophie.... the easiest was the tomb raider sophie. I have an extra set of painter sophie wings (which was for the now defunct artist con but I may be wrong).
Single curmudgeon with own brush and paint seeks only aesthetically pleasing models for base coating, high lights, shadowing, and more. Will strip if necessary. Are you primed? PM me now.

I really shoud go to Reapercon this year then. Collecting them piecemeal is a PITA and expensive. I think I ended up paying almost $80 for the sci-fi version on eBay.

Or just start making sure you jump online during RCon and ordering them - except for the convention exclusive minis (which aren't always Sophies), you can get the RCon Sophie through the Reaper store during the con.

But going to ReaperCon is mo' betta. ;)

I have most of them. Let me know what you're interested in and I'll check what I have. I'm sure we'll be able to figure out something in terms of trade.

If you're participating in the Kickstarter and would be willing to pick up either, or both of the Sophies, I would REALLY like to get them. I generally paint because I enjoy the art as opposed to gaming with most of what I do. If you have any of the old confrontation metal minis, I like those (fiannas in particular).

Is there a particular Sophie you are looking for? Don't know if I have an extra 2004 or 2005 available, but could probably help with the others.

Beyond that, I'm really pretty open. The more interesting/unique the sculpt, the better.

Send me a note with what you want and some items you think would be fair in terms of trade and I'll be glad to take a look.

I'm kicking myself now for not sucking up the cost and getting one of those Sophie boxed sets. The holiday minis are easy enough to find so that's something. Have you got the Halloween Sophie with the couldron? The catgirl version is easy to get a hold of.
