What is this Canadia of which you speak? Is it a county in Minnesota?

It's a quaint name we gave the U.S. attic.

Hat! Dammit - we're America's Hat and we worked hard to become so!! I refuse to live in a country that is the US 'attic'! Probably under someone's 'ruff', eh? EH!?
Every society rests on a barbarian base. The people who don't understand civilization and wouldn't like it if they did. The hitchhikers. The people who create nothing and don't appreciate what others have created for them. Who think civilization is just something that just exists and all they need do is enjoy what they understand of it - luxuries, a high standard of living and easy work for high pay. Responsibilities? Phooey! What do they have government for? - Space Viking H. Beam Piper

C'mon now, show us some respect. We've been fully independent since 1982!

(true story, Canada was actually not formally and fully independent until then)

Current Bones Count:  Total:  109  Painted:  81

Buglips, that is just epic, and so very wrong.

Isn't Canadia a faction in 40k? We better keep an eye on their inquisitors.

Nobody expects the Canadian Inquisition!

Hey!!! Canadia can't be all that bad, they let goblins live peacefully.......
I have lived in several places where Buglips would've been shot, stuffed and put in a threatening pose, as the hillbilly who shot him repeatedly told the story of how the other "aliens" got away in their "flyin saucer"....... 8-)

BTW Buglips, you get down for Reapercon, you got a place to stay.......I have a corner that needs a new ornament.....lol

I miss Due South. sigh; cute modern paladins. I've lived in the south all my life, but it wasn't until I moved to a more rural area that I truly learned some fascinating new phrases and words-like caddywumpus. So useful. My favorite is "bless your heart" You see in the South, we're even more polite than Canadians (no offense to our neighbors, bless their hearts) You can get away with saying anything if you add "bless" to the end of it.
Example: That there goblin's hat's all caddywumpus, bless his little heart. It sounds even better with a southern accent. I might be biased, though.

oh, you mean I can put stuff here?  cool!  now to think of something...

Hey!!! Canadia can't be all that bad, they let goblins live peacefully.......

There are some who would argue that's a sign of Canadia's depravity...

It sounds even better with a female southern accent.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?
