Hi ya'll. I have another odd mini request. I've been scouring the internet for a good Kitsune or Were-fox model, but choices seem to be rather limited. I'm open to pretty much anything in regular humanoid size, as I'm probably going to have to modify the piece a fair mount.
I already have http://www.reapermin...re/latest/14591 and I'm ordering http://www.reapermin...ne/latest/03495 soon, but that seems to be all that Reaper has to offer.
I've found a really nice piece from the Bushido game but have never seen one of their models before, so I'm a little wary about ordering one.
I also found one on Bronze Age Miniatures but I don't really like the face.
I'm really hoping somebody knows of another option. Right now I'm leaning towards ordering the Bushido character, then grabbing some of Reaper's models to swap out the hands.
Looking for a Kitsune Model

I've had to resort to green stuff for that sort of thing (but the results haven't been all that great). For the sake of brainstorming:
* You could get just the "werefox" from the Boneyard (P02900A - http://www.reapermin...neStore/p02900a), chop off the head and tail, and apply those to a miniature of your choice. Depending on what sort of character you want, you might try Chronoscope #50152 "Oyuki, Geisha" or else #02511 "Midori, Female Monk" (though I think that costume might be more Chinese-inspired than Japanese).
* If you're willing to deal with Dreamblade singles, there's "Dreamblade - Baxar's War #6: Kitsune," but it's uncommon, I'm not sure where to find it, and ... come to think of it, it's not the prettiest sculpt, either.
* The Ironclaw RPG used to have a set of 25mm scale miniatures of anthropomorphic animals, including a fox character (in a costume that doesn't really look all that Kitsune-ish), and a cat character (who has a vaguely Oriental-looking costume). Sorry, I don't know if anyone still makes these.
Of the options, I think the Bushido miniature you mentioned previously looks like the least troublesome one.

Ya, I was afraid that would be the case. Maybe a certain company should get around to making models of the Advanced Race Guide races =)

(I had to look that up. Pathfinder supplement, I guess?)
A Chinese fox spirit (or "Huli Jing" -- I just looked that up on Wikipedia ;D ) or Japanese Kitsune, if presented in period-appropriate garb, might be useful not just for fantasy, but for settings such as Savage Worlds (Deadlands), since supernatural creatures pop up as encounters there all the time. I'd buy it.

Ya, the ARG is from Pathfinder. It basically fleshed out the rules for non-standard races.

How about something from Rackham's Confrontation? These might be a little big compared to what you're wanting. I don't own any so I can't compare them to Reaper's. Take a look; they're pretty cheap, considering...

That's just from a quick search; I'm sure MMarket has other types.
