I am in need of an additional paint caddy. The reaper paint caddy works perfectly for my collection of reaper and vallejo paints. Alas, it seems to have been out of stock lately. Is this just a super hot item that is always selling out or is it going the way of the dodo?

08706 Paint Carrying Case looks to have 18 in stock. Is this the one you're looking at?

Ah, never mind. A little more digging found what you're looking at.

If it's any help, I found a Plano plastic box that fits Reaper's paints quite well. Plano stow away 3730. Should run you $10 or less.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

Will have to look at the plano cases if indeed the reaper one is gone.

I know the paint pack is long gone, Haldir. A nice retail style display would be nice but i don't have the room for it.

What you want is an Artbin Super Satchel: http://www.joann.com...007ab/prd61682/

Very similar to the not-available Reaper case, holds dropper bottles of all kinds.

Ok, sorry about that. The rack question has been asked before & really for home use it was kinda bulky. Nice to organize paints but it more for store display with single facings of multiple colors.

For my first ReaperCon I bought a case at Home Depot. It was big enough to hold all of the MSPs at the time ('05) + it had a hinged lid that had a lock on it. Which was nice due to the bottle stuck ever so slightly. I can't even remember what brand it was now. It was yellow, that I remember.

The one from Jo-Ann's you might also be able to get a % off coupon for it as well. They run those either by text message or you find a link on their site.

The Plano 3730 is a perfect replacement for the paint caddy.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

I recommend the Plano Stowaway 3730 as well. About the same size and holds the same number of paints (or so), but with better latches and for a cheaper price (at least through Amazon).

For a more fixed paint station, I have been using a modular colosseum PDF from World Works Games -

Posted Image

The stepped arena seating is the perfect size to hold paints. :B): There are options that do not have the arch and sun shade, but no images of them are on the site.

I add a new section when I get too many paints, and can print up a replacement if something goes wrong. I turned one of the towers into a holder for my brushes.

Not my idea - SirDidymus over on the World Works forums thought it up - leaving me thinking 'well, I'll be jiggered!' I have been using them ever since. And I have a lot of paints.

I also have some mounted to the back of my GM screen - as a staging area for minis that I am likely to use in the scenario at hand.

And you could use it to build an arena too, I suppose....
