I know this is really, really late but life has been decidedly hectic here. So Tacticon 2012 is this Labor Day weekend and in fact starts tomorrow night. The CMPA is running classes although not nearly on the scale that we run for Genghis con in February. The organizers have a new computer system in place so I can't check whether classes are full or not, but if nothing else folks are welcome to come down and paint with us. Naturally since painters like light we are banished to the lower level with no natural light again.
The painting competition information is old but the basic rules still apply but it is a hybrid of the open or medal competition and a trophy competition. Bring your minis down and we will sort it out though.
Tacticon takes place at the Red Lion Hotel in Aurora CO at the corner of I-225 and Parker Rd and runs from Thursday Night 8/30 to Sunday 9/2.
