The concept sketches for the storm giants look really good, but does the female giant have to be in the stripper pose? I really hope her pose is modified for the actual model, it'll be nice to have a female giant in an actual fighting pose for a change.

Here we go again. She's a cloud giant and absolutely the last giant that should be posed in a fighting stance.

I know at least one woman who uses that pose (minus the club) as her 'bend down to talk to small children pose'

so a giant talking to a human might do the same

As a female I have no problem with the stance other than It is slightly awkward at the hip IMHO.

In general if you want another pose the artwork would have to be redone. The sculptors tend to stay pretty true to the concept artwork they are working from. Yes, the sculpt is their work but they are trying to breath life into the artistic concept of someone else so they tend to not deviate to much from what they receive. Well, unless they have received one of Ron's stick figure concepts.

Incidentally, if a giant was going to be reposed, I'd rather it was the (male) Storm giant, rather than the Cloud giant. I like the concept as an illustration, but as a model I'd rather see a more neutral "Choose your next words; Very. Carefully. Little man." Pose.

That would be a cool image, I might try reposing him... Guess that means I need an extra set.

I don't mind the lack of fighting stance, but it would be nice if it didn't look so uncomfortable to stand like that.

Unless something drastic happens, it won't. I saw the metal master at Reaper this past Saturday; as she is well past the concept art stage, she's not going to be changed unless there is a production issue. And even if that were the case, changes at that stage are rarely big ones, like a different pose. That's a whole different sculpt at that point. Sorry you don't like here. I think the sculpt looks really nice.

I saw the metal master at Reaper this past Saturday; as she is well past the concept art stage, she's not going to be changed unless there is a production issue. And even if that were the case, changes at that stage are rarely big ones, like a different pose. That's a whole different sculpt at that point. Sorry you don't like here. I think the sculpt looks really nice.

The pose doesn't bother me, so long as she doesn't have the Jason Wiebe Obligatory Pig dangling from her belt.

I like this idea with male giants, but the idea of a female giant packing a pig snack around just bothers me.

Shakakhan, can you give us an idea of the scale vs templar since it was never in a graphic? After all storm giants are supposed to be around 21' tall, the giant mini should be roughly 3 times the height of templar.
