So just a generalist question on if anyone has used these cases, how good they are, what kind of models you've transported etc.....
(ps also what's better 2 cases or a 1 case and Sophie????)

While I've never used a ORH case before I've seen their bags & they are top quality. I would expect these cases to be the same.

As for the model, well I'm no Sophie collector and whilst the novelty factor is enticing its more the fact that I get a model this side of Christmas that is attracting me to getting her. £100+ isn't small change and - well - its an investment in a purchase that is a good half a year away (7 months IF they make the March deadline).

You can then head out and either get some comfy foam or egg crate foam from your local department store for roughly $15. Cut out the foam to fit your box with a hobby knife, get some cardboard or card stock from your local craft store ($5), glue/tape the foam to both sides of the cardboard so it has some stiffness (so that you can put entire armies on the "tray" and handle it without issue), and then your done. Literally $50 for a case that can survive military postal handling (which is god awful rough), carry all of your minis, and if you're a cheapskate like me, is an extra seat for when your friends drop by.
And did I mention it's got CUPHOLDERS!!! That in itself makes it worth getting.

I really don't understand the big deal about cases and foam. You can get a nice large toolbox or a military deployment style "gorilla" or "tuff" box for roughly $30 or less. I love the gorilla boxes myself because you can sit on them and they have cupholders and are stackable. Additionally they have wheels.

Any links to places you can buy these 'gorilla' boxes in Canada? Having zero luck on google right now.

Look for "truck boxes" in the automotive section of your local Walmart. Or where you would look to buy a footlocker/trunk.

I'm not so sure I'd want to get hit by a missile with a "dog brain" AI.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

What other company's cases or bags do people around here commonly use? I'm curious. I'm in for a QH case myself and giving another away, but I'm also considering making another case on my own--either initially by buying a box or perhaps making one out of wood.
I use Sabol and Battlefoam

I also have a Sabol Army transport but it's the older style (no zipper strap on the side) + no shoulder pad.
