Well, they're not like the old Reaper Pro's (I don't know of any that are), but for my money the Coat D'Arms metals are, and have always been, the best metallics you can get.

Buglips, that is just epic, and so very wrong.

I really prefer Citadel metallics, but have been getting decent results from the Reaper MSP metallics I have in my bin.

New citadel metallics, or old citadel metallics? Because Coat D'Arms are the old citadel metallics with a new label.

IMO, the best metallics are the Gunze Sangyo Mr. Metal Color line of buffing metallics. But they are organic solvent paints and the solvents are very volatile (from new to dry in 3 months with the cap on in at least one case for me).

I've been super happy with Vallejo Game Color Metalics, and the Army Painter Metalics. However I just figured out how to make the MSP metalics work and look awesome too. Thin them with Liquitex Airbrush Medium. Sounds weird I know but it works like a charm.

Does anybody else find it odd, by the way, that the information age has led to language becoming an oblique and imprecise tool where even the most straightforward phrasing is pored over with chicken entrails and bone tossing to divine the true meaning?

Createx Air Brush paint, get the pearl and the metalics. Both are good for use, they have fine pigment and a good density of pigment.
I have just recieved a case of baseball bats. I will, with great pleasure, pass them out to anyone that wants to use them on any person that feels the need to abuse the meaning of the word SOON. It is time to stand up and take action for the crimes done to the word SOON. Posted Image

I second Doug's recommendation. Mr. Color metallics are great. They have acrylic ones as well in Metallic Red, Burn Iron, Steel, Copper, Silver, Metallic Blue, Steel Red, Metal Black, and Metallic Blue Green.

You can grab them at hobbyeasy listed under Mr Hobby brand in the acrylic section for around $1.90 a bottle. The Gaiacolor metals are also very good, but on the more expensive side at about $3.90 a bottle and are a lacquer instead of acrylic. Star Bright Duralumin is one of the colors to look for.

Vallejo Model Air are a secret weapon in metallics. The metallic pigments milled for use in the Model Air paint line is about 1/10th the size of the Game Color line and competing offerings from other companies, as the paints are specifically designed for airbrush use where clogging is the principle enemy. The smaller milled pigments allow the Model Air metals to clean more easily from brushes, goes on more smoothly, never gives a flaky or glittery look and the paint mixes well, too. It is, for all of those reasons, slightly more more expensive than all competing brands save Citadel (which, like all Citadel products, is plainly overpriced). But 40-50 cents a bottle more for Vallejo Model Air is not that big a deal.

The base of this is the Steel metallic color, mixed with some gray to make it a little less metallic from Mr. Color Acrylic line. You can actually "buff" this brand also to bring out a more metallic look as well if you want, the more glittery type metal look.

I personally use acrylic craft paints from the craft stores which also come in a large selection of metallics. However, I might check out this Mr. Hobby brand if they are that inexpensive. I'll have to look into getting them to see if they are cost effective. I'm very happy with the results I get from the craft acrylics though, and I have just restocked my supply so I have seveal hundred bottles of paints.... and I just spent $850 on minis.... so checking out the new paint might have to wait.
I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade... And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.
