I'm not a fan of the sculpt but your paint job is exquisite. A picture showing the front view of the face/hood would be nice.
Thank you Adrift. When my hubby picked up this figure and nicely asked me to paint, my first response was, 'Why (this figure...)?'
As I was painting him, I got to like him, though. He is slightly bigger than other miniatures, has lots of room to do free hand, and
ideal for someone who is not fond of painting faces. I maybe take a photo with his face showing in the future, it is secret for now.
Love the freehand!

Beautiful work. The freehand on the front is much more intricate than the back. I think the figure would be improved if you redid the back in the style of the front--more fine lines and details within reason.
Thanks, Lastman. I enjoyed doing the freehand in the front. It was somehow easy. It was a mistake to do pink flowers on a male figure
, especially an inquisitor(!), I realized later though. Freehand in the back, however, I struggled. I should have stopped when I noticed
my hands were shaking probably due to drinking one too many cup of coffee, and, for some reasons, the paint was drying up so fast it
was annoying. I kept retouching it using superfine size 000 brush and ended up making the swirls thick and vividly white. He worships
Pharasma, the Lady of Graves, whose symbol is a spiral. Swirl freehand was more appropriate for the figure than pretty flowers...
The freehand looks excellent, I especially like the flowers on the sleeves.
The highlights on the blue garments and the belt are impressive as well.
Thank you, Metalchaos. : ) People seem to like that flowery freehand. I maybe do more of those in the future probably on a female
figure. I don't normally do things like freehand, but I found it fun while painting this guy. I'm still practicing applying proper highlights
on a figure, which is very difficult for me. Thanks for your encouraging comment.
