Hello! Welcome to the hopefully rapidly growing Necropolis Army proving grounds.

I am excited to have finished my first Warlord warlord: Judas Bloodspire. I spent a lot more time on him than I had alotted, but I figure its worth it to have your warlord look nice. I could spend a lot more time on him getting him further improved, but I have to move on to the rest of the Army.



I don't have a solid list made yet, but I have enough primed figures for a couple variations of 1000pt armies.

Along with Judas, I have 3 ghouls painted up as well:



More to come soon, though they will probably look rougher as I have to pick up the pace.

Great looking army. My Reven are all in a state of almost done, halfway done, a couple licks of paint, or black primer. It doesn't help that I change my army list every week!!

With my most recent game, I'm going to try to tweak my army list to play, and set it all out to get those models completed.

I think you have this exactly right; I need to figure out an army list and paint the figures just for that first. Thanks Josh!

Good luck!! It seems like getting all the primer covered and some highlights takes an age in and of itself. Then comes the details....

@Josh: Thanks! And you are definitely correct -- for me at least, getting the figures primed and based takes forever.

If I were you I'd try to paint the whole army to those standards!

Even if you never win a game, you'll get the "Best Looking Army" award every single time!

It's been a long time since I've updated the Army, but it's moving along nicely.  I'm almost done with my beloved Vampires, and really I just need to sit down and photograph them.  I seem to keep adding figures as options, even though so far I only have Vampire lists, but the muse cannot be restrained.  So in the meantime, here are the latest figures finished for this project:

 

 

I love this mini, and I'll probably go back and touch him up when I have time.

 

 

Lastly, a couple of completed burrowing zombies.  Just in case.
