So FRP and Miniature Giant have the new bones figures posted. When will we see them at Reaper?

I thought the male and female wizards were next out the door for Bones? Also, there was talk of releasing some sort of Bones roadmap a while back...?
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Much as I want that Bones roadmap, I really understand why Reaper wouldn't publish it.

I was a little surprised to see other companies publishing what bones were coming out before reaper did as well. This is something reaper should be in front of. It's the information age and people want information. Of course things do go wrong and reaper has a few of those issues as well but all you can do is inform for the best, tell them to prepare for the worst and let people be pleasantly surprised by what comes out. and where's tha black dragon for the pathfinder line already eh? Eh?

Pick up Alliance's Game Trade magazine each month. It will tell you what new products are coming out a month, sometimes two months in advance. It's not 100% accurate, but pretty close.

Certain other companies break street date and pre-sale before retailers have the figures in their stores, too. Not something we have the luxury of as the manufacturer.

Of course, our previews page does have the upcoming Bones listed.

That's great! Wipes egg off face.

The only thing I'd add is that they should also be under the actual Bones section and we should have an awesome Bones message board here. (Watch it'll turn out that we do and I've just been missing it.)

In terms of street date, The MIniature Giant didn't break it, but they do allow preorders so when I saw that they had images and names and prices I was like "Why isn't this information easily available on the Reaper site." The previews page helps tghough!

Ooo. I think I'm going to have to be adding a few more members to my zombie horde soon. :D I like that these guys (77014) are generic enough that they could pass for fantasy OR modern. Those rats (77016) are also a great example of "swarmer" enemies I love to throw at my players. (There's just something special about being able to see enemy miniatures being removed from the table to have a sense of progress in the battle as a hero, and the fantasy of taking on a large crowd of lesser enemies, versus a single big monster with a big tally of hit points that's slowly being whittled down.) At the same time, the details on the minotaur (77013) and bugbear (77015) are wonderful! Even though I don't "need" either of them, at that price I'm likely to get each of them eventually to paint up just for the sheer fun of it. :)

I believe what I said was that we have a roadmap, not that I was going to show it.

I've seen the map. It's a lovely map.

It looks like a graveyard!

I always envisioned Bryan's road map to look more like Candy Land.

... Pay no heed to proud thoughts, famous champion. Now the flowering of your strength is but for a while. After a while, the time will suddenly come that disease or the sword's edge will cut off your power. Either fire's grasp or flood's surge or blade's bite or spear's flight. Or vicious age, or the flash of your eyes will gutter and burn out! It will be all at once, great campaigner, that death will overpower you.

It's terrifying!  Without enough caffeine your body undergoes these hours of partial paralysis and hallucinations! :shudder:
