This guy was a figure a friend was going to use for a character in a campaign we were playing, but he opted for a different mini, so I thought I'd paint this one up anyway. Someday (soon, I hope) I'm going to attempt using the spell effect as source lighting, but I guess in this case, he's casting in bright daylight. ;)

Echoing Inarah's observation: The first thing that struck me was how nice the reddish hood and boots look. The flame-in-the-hand effect came out very nicely as well!
