This one was for a recent commission. Since she looks like a character from a 1950's Sci-Fi TV show, I wanted to make sure she came off that way. I started to put her on Mars, but then realized she was not wearing a helmet. So I adjusted, and came up with a planet surface similar to Mars, but which will support life. I sculpted the Craters out of Green Stuff, the added Gravel Sand for the basic surface. The plants I tried to make look like they could have been from a set back then (Kind of fake looking).

I really like this! I was thinking it reminded me of Prometheus looking at the craters.

Loving that hair. Too sexy, mmmm. Are the guns made out of the same stuff?

I think you did a great job catching the pulp sci-fi feel! I'm currently reading 'Princess of Mars' and the red earth with the yellow moss-like plants really made me think of the descriptions of Mars in the book. Good work!

I love the sci fi feel you gave her, and her hair color is fantastic. The craters add a lot of interest to the base. Really fantastic!

Thanks everyone. I am glad she reminds everyone of the 50's era Sci-fi shows. It good when the interpretation comes out as planned.

I like her Buck Rogers style. Back in 1928 Buck Rogers was the first Sci-Fi comic book hero. He was also the first to use a disintegrator laser beam gun. I like your color choice and the base is matching perfectly.

This is one of my favorite Reaper minis, and I love the way this one looks, especially the "alien foliage" on the base. :)
