I'm having a tough time finding a model for a character I'd like to play in a Pathfinder game. I'm thinking of playing a Strix Polearm Master Fighter. Basically, a flying warrior using polearms while in flight, stabbing down at enemies that can't reach me. The problem is, the only models Reaper has that resemble Strix are Angels, and they don't really fit the feel of the race.

So, what I'm looking for are some characters wielding Polearms that I can attach some wings to. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Right now I'm considering the following:

14024: Eredain
03466: Taldalise
02972: Ishara Snowfinch

I really like the Ishara model, but she'd probably be the hardest to attach some wings to. I'm also having some trouble picking wings that will actually work with the various models.

Don't forget there are multiple weapon packs with spears and pole arms that you can use to modify a figure, too.

So I googled a strix, then pathfinder strix. Are they dark skinned, dark feathered, white haired, long eared humanoids with bird like feet??

Strix are basically drow with wings and talons.

Have you looked at this figure from the Warlord line? The incubus should work fine for it. He's a little beefier than a Strix. Weapon swapping out the sword for a polearm should be pretty easy. Mephisto might also work if you nip off his tail.

The Harpy from the Reven might also work. Jalinrix or several of the succubus (WL Succubus, Sithiris or Jhoxoria) would all work with simple weapon or wing swap/additions if you would prefer a female character. Some of them have bat wings instead of feathers, but you could swap them fairly easily.

... Pay no heed to proud thoughts, famous champion. Now the flowering of your strength is but for a while. After a while, the time will suddenly come that disease or the sword's edge will cut off your power. Either fire's grasp or flood's surge or blade's bite or spear's flight. Or vicious age, or the flash of your eyes will gutter and burn out! It will be all at once, great campaigner, that death will overpower you.

It's terrifying!  Without enough caffeine your body undergoes these hours of partial paralysis and hallucinations! :shudder:

Dark skinned and feathered, long ears and slited nostrils, no pupils in their eyes. They're tall and skinny with large wingspans (12 feet).

Thanks for the suggestions.I'm going to pickup Jalinrix, mostly for her wings. I think that which ever model I go with for the character I'll use her wings since the're pretty cool looking as well as help the character take up less horizontal space on the table.

I really like the look and the pose of the incubus character. It's kinda hard to tell for certain, but does he have horns? If so, I can probably remove those without too many issues. Anyway, I'm going to get my parts ordered. I'll be sure to post some photos once I have a finalized character.

Thanks everybody
