Ahoy hoy! I've been frequenting the Reaper section at my local hobby shop for only a couple years now, but after getting into a few campains of the 3.5/Pathfinder variety I've been engrossed in filling the niches with monster sculpts of my own. It was suggested to me I should finally visit the forums here and display!

Below is my latest monster, A tarrasque who found a home on my roommate's mantle. He's about the weight and size of a kitten (only 8X12 inch base), and has not been delt in play yet!

I'll spare the details, but he is mostly Super Sculpey clay with a grey+green stuff mix for detailing
Here is a WIP of the figure moving up to the point of completion. I'll keep posting new for any of the other sculpts I've thrown in front of the camera and light tent!

These are out of a series of six (I'll grab imags of the rest soon). Treants, the undead, elementals and any evil abberant minions are easy to do, considering there is no particular form they require to look the part. The more varied, the better.

Case in point, large wraiths.

An obvious cross between a polar bear and a snowy owl, for variety.

The left Wraith is really creepy and nicely sculpted. The Polar Owlbear is also a good idea, but my favourite is the Tarrasque. Even if it’s a little too thin “it must be starving” the sculpt is excellent.

A few more!

Based on the Pathfinder Cyclops. I was itching to make him when our low-level party ran into this fellow working as a mountain path bandit who proceeded to clean our gills and send us on our way. We all wanted a revenge, so a mini barking threats was in order. The snow is playing around again with light molding paste -- easily painted, but the texture has an appealing translucence to it.

I don't think I got the scale anywhere near, let alone the feel that comes from the artwork, but it was fun practice on an obscure campaign monster and applying grey stuff to sculpey for the first time.
