So I've finally got my miniature photos looking really good by getting some good lighting and then color correcting them with gimp. But I want to upload some of them to the Reaper inspiration gallery, but the files are too big after I've run them through gimp. I appreciate any and all help. ty :)

What is your Pixel x Pixel size? Resize/resample this to around 700 to 900 px in your longest dimension and it should be OK.

Some tales are better left for the light of day.

Also be sure that when you're uploading, you're uploading the JPG and not the GIMP working file. (Whatever the GIMP version of the psd extension is). I've accidentally tried that a time or two with my Photoshop files.

Also, if you're setting the output for maximum quality/minimum compression, then you might be actually increasing the original file's size.
