If you're in a situation where you want to flog your gaming stuff on fleabay, a great way to gain exposure is to post the auctions on The Miniatures Page and on frothers in their marketplace section.

You have to buy a supporting membership on TMP to post in the auction section, but you can spend something like three bucks for a short membership and utilize their site.

Posting a link in their marketplace section under Fantasy and General, or Sci-Fi and General, or a few combinations, will instantly get large numbers of people looking to buy, looking at your auctions.

I've had great success with cross posting this way, and recommend it to anyone.

Worked for me (thanks for the tip)! I don't have hard numbers, but I'm sure posting on TMP got me more bids than the $2.50 or whatever it was to join.
"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
John Stuart Mill
English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)

Glad it worked out for you. I'm going to be selling off a lot of stuff to move in with my girl. It's a shame how much metal a nerd can accumulate.
