Haven't painted any fantasy figures in quite a while. I painted this up for a fantasy game project I am starting.

I had a hard time figuring it was Gerrin Greystone by Jason Wiebe.
I always like to look for minis name, it’s like looking for a treasure to me, thanks to the online store search engine.

Anyway, I really like the color of the beard and the bruised like shading on the skin.

Welcome back Ironworker! I always liked your stuff, and this one does not disapoint. Any chance of a back shot?

This paint has pop!! I could see this on a tabletop. I also love how the grey paint on the base just puts the integral stone together so nicely. Perfect dungeon adventurer.

Nice beard!!
I can't agree more with the base, love the beige accent into the grey, makes it look much more natural, dark and mysterious!

Very cool looking dwarf, great color scheme too!
I'll fight it, but I won't kill it. Now, what about my dynamite?

The blue facepaint really complements, for lack of a better word, the hair and skin and makes this figure stand out more. Well done.

I love the look of the figure in general, but I'm particularly interested in the "grey" base. It looks as if several colors were involved in getting the stone effect?

Yes I used a dark green mixed with black as the base then added a medium blue wash and a purple wash. I also lightly drybrushed on some straw yellow before the last grey highlight.

As a dwarf-lover myself, fantastic job! Your paint job really gives the mini a lot of character.

Very nice stumpy! The colors are great. The Rosy skin is excellent and the basing is perfect for the gaming table.
