Another figure I've had sitting far too long. I'm not sure how to bring some life into this one. The guitar especially stumps me. I tried a few things and it was just a mess, so now it's the amber color you see. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

She looks good so far. Guitar wise I was trying to find a good source for guitar design art but probably a good bet would be to go to Google images and enter electric guitar body designs, and see if any ideas spring from there. Sometimes musicians will also have a name for their instrument depending on the sound it makes (for example I know a bass named Scary Beast, because it's a big instrument, 6 strings and fretless). Also she's an elf, perhaps the instrument had some magic used in it's making? Colorwise I love the green you're using, it might be nice to echo some accents of the shade in the guitar.

You might try making the guitar match her corset? It may end up being too busy/drawing focus, but it could be neat if the filigree on her corset was the color of the guitar's body, and the accent panels on the guitar the same as the corset's main fabric.
