I find myself in the unfortunate situation (financial reasons) of needing to sell a large portion of my gaming collection.

Of course you could always spread the word to others not on this forum as well...

Please note: I checked with Kit and he said it was fine for me to post this.

I'm truly sorry to see that you have to sell some of these. There are a couple of rare games in that mix. I'll definitely keep an eye on some of these. I think you have started your minimum bids a bit high so I'll be interested in seeing how you do, hopefully you will get what you need out of this. I hate to see any collection go up for sale, and I see it far to often at my auctions in Denver.

Thanks. I set the minimums to the least I could let them go for. If someone got one of these games for $5 or something, I don't think I could handle that...

I understand that. Its always a hard line between starting it low and taking that risk and starting it high and having it not sell at all. My advice is always to start it low and let the auction fever drive it high, something that does happen on eBay quite a bit. But you are right the possibility of it starting and going for $5 is the risk you have to decide if you are willing to take. For you its not worth the risk and you priced accordingly. That's what you have to do sometimes.

I feel your pain. I had to unload a lot of games and other stuff I very much loved, back at the beginning of the year. Here's hoping it's at least profitable for you.

Did you advertise your ebay auctions on TMP and frothers? It really helps.

I'll likely be putting a ton (almost literally) of minis up in the next two to three weeks. I'll just mention it here this once, I don't want to push my luck or the mods generosity...but if interested, please keep checking my user name on eBay and I'll post elsewhere ( likely TMP).
