I believe it was Shannon who painted it and even won a medal for it, but there was a miniature of a Jellyfish looking creature reading a book. I have combed the internet and found driod parts, but nothing in remotely similar to the mini she painted.

Does anyone have an idea of who made it, year, anything? Also, i tried man o wars, jellyfish, sea jelly.... i found some green 32MM miniatures, but nothing with a book or even with the same look.

Any help would be much apreciated. I attached the best picture i could find of it.

That's just to small to tell what it is. I don't think that one was in the section that I judged.

Oh wow. My phone must have shrunk the pic size. I will try to get a better resolution from home later.

I'm pretty sure Shannon found that on the melt table. Hopefully the person who put it there will happen by this thread and satisfy your curiousity.

I remember the figure!!! but no, I don't remember what Shannon told me about the manufacturer. The memory i'm making up is that she did some level of conversion on the original model she used.

I vaguely remember a company (or am also making up another recollection) that there is an alien race of jellyfish with a non-jellyfish name... hrm...

Found it: It's an old Magnificent Egos miniature named "Queeeetee Sandblossom , Ceptu" catalog number "MEO1110" I think Valent Enterprises produces them still.

Well, you can get an army of four...
