That's incredible! How did you get that tarnished effect. I love it. I painted this mini but he was all new and shiney. I love the difference.

I like the nice rusty and wired metal effects you did.
I definitely need to try this one my Razig Soulcannon.
Great work!

Wow! I love the metal corrosion/patina effects! That really adds a lot of visual interest to a figure rather than just painting it in basic metallics. Any tips on how you went about doing that?

great comments thx :-) the corrosion on the copper and brass was a rough mix off blue (ultramarine) and green (goblin green) and dabbed on where i thought the worst of the corrosion would be over a long time (couple of centuries) then matt varnish over. Not got round to buying reaper paints yet so not sure on colour names.

The rusty paintsheme looks really awesome, gives so much character on the robot!
Well done!

I recently came accross a technique I heard for the first time, using hairspray for weathering and creating rusty effects...
If you google 'hairspray weathering technique' you'll sure come accross it...
It might look great for this sort of rusted metals!

Personally, I'm not a fan of the sculpt... however... your paint job makes me like this version a LOT :)
