The lighting washed out the wings a fair bit. C&C welcome, thanks for looking!

Wow.

Those purples and golds are great. Also love the addition of the cotton to the base as clouds.

Very well done. Looking at the examples people post here show me that I have a long ways to go in learning to paint. You really made it look as if a bright light was shining from above, slightly to the angel's left, on the miniature.

As others have already mentioned, great color choice, and the base is just so awesome! Great work!

I like that deep purple as well ;)
And I think the legs are very finely detailed, the skin look very nice.

The way he turned out makes me wonder if I shouldn't have gotten the Avatar of Aurellius....(goes and looks at the Avatar again)...ok maybe not. But I may have to get both now :P .

Like the others said. The mettallics and purple are really cool. Are you using Reaper metallic paints, or some other brand?

Reaper metallics for the gold, but I used one of the unnamed 'extra' colors they sent me as an extra with an order I put in as the base. Citadel for the silver, which is pretty much just the axe.

Thanks for the comments, everyone!
