Hey folks,
I've got a question about varnishing models. What do you guys use to seal and protect a finished model? I've been trying to use Liquitex Satin and Gloss Varnish with an airbrush. It works great for a little while, but quickly clogs the airbrush. I've heard of lots of hobbiests who run varnish through their airbrushes, and I was wondering if anyone knew what i was doing wrong, or has alternative ideas. Thanks!

Do you dilute the varnish? Are there any chunks in the varnish?
I push liquitex gloss and Lascaux Matte through and airbrush and I usually don't have problems with clogs. I did have some clogging problems last week, but that was because I had some little chunks in the varnish.

No, I don't dilute the varnish because the Liquitex gloss varnish bottle says not too. I wasn't sure how adding water would affect it, and I was unable to find info online (although maybe I was asking the wrong question).
