Funny that I need to ask but as I got my Bones kobolds, I cant figure out if they are supposed to be the old-school dog-like kobolds or the more recent lizard-like kobolds? They dont seem to have any fur sculpted on them, but the heads/faces look more dog-like then lizard-like...

Thoughts?

That's the brilliance of these sculpts. It all depends on how you paint them. They work as either type. I painted mine as more old school canine. That's the way we play them in our DnD games. But I have seen them painted as the lizard type and look great that way too.

Depends on how you paint them!

Interesting, I'm not entirely convinced but I will try painting them green and see how it goes ^_^

Actually, old-school AD&D kobolds had dog-like faces with scaly, reptilian skin. Earlier iterations of D&D (original little brown books, or Holmes basic set) didn't provide any description or illustration and there have never been any furry kobolds in D&D, so the Reaper kobolds are as old-school as you can get.
