I've heard that Reaper sells sprues of weapons and sheilds in 28mm. anyone know where i can find it? I just spent 10 minutes looking with no luck.

You should also note that many of those packs in the store have sprues you can buy individually in the Boneyard. Click on the Nefsokar weapons pack. You'll see below it the Boneyard pieces, so if you just want the sprue with the shields, you can buy it.

Yeah, just in case that wasn't clear, if you don't want the whole pack, follow Bryan's link, then click the puzzle piece icon for the pack you want the sprue from. You'll get a listing on the parts in that blister, and you can order just the sprue(s) you want that way, in whatever quantity you desire.

thanks, sadly none of those will work. I'm trying to alter some GW LOTR Gondor pieces...

The Crusader swords should fit well with the Gondor pieces. But if you're looking for shields, well, only GW has the licensing for the Tree.
Also note that the LotR stuff from GW is slightly smaller scale than the Reaper stuff. To the point where certain swaps might verge on inadvisable.
