Here are some new minis I've done. I had a hard time choosing colors for the Velociraptors, but in the end they turned out pretty good I think. As for the cockatrice, I knew right away what colors I would use and tried my hand at blending. If anyone is curious, I can tell you what paints I used for them. I'm stilling working on basing, but over all, I don't think they too bad. Comments and questions welcome.

Thanks in advance,
Lee

Colors are great. You should look into using some washes and drybrushing on these guys as that would make them look really good.

I did wash and drybrush both of them. My camera sucks and really drowns it out.

For the cockatrice, I used a Vallejo Storm Wash and then dry brushed it in gold to give their scales a shiny effect.

For the Velociraptors, I used a Vallejo brown wash and then dry brushed them in orange to dry to give them a muddy, kinda dried-blood look. They look better in person.

That does happen, I still can't get a photo without washing out something.

I'm playing around with some techniques. However, a white background has so far proven the best.

One more, the Carnotaurus. My wife thought there was too much blue on it, but I think it balanced out fine.
