You're a great sculptor Gene, and it's cool you're offering your insight for this Hellbeard padawan.

Great work on the pant leg! You could also chant "Use the Force Luke..."
Gene
Thank you sir, your insightful advice has really, really, helped me advance. Truly, the fart of a butterfly is a wonderful thing.
If Butterfly Farts works, it will be your legacy, Gene. You can't fight your destiny!

I am honored and grateful. Could not have hoped for better than this.
Here's another leg pant. The pelvis looks really crooked. I think because of a mass on the left of the character(right hand side for us, looking at the front). It will probably be mostly mitigated when I add the coat. I realized the right of his face seems to be missing his cheekbone/zygomatic process so I'll give it some attention later. The ears are also bugging me somewhat.

Going swimmingly.
:D
Thanks! I'm quite displeased with how many things came out but like you said it's all about experience so I do feel like I'm learning how to do things better.
Positioned arms. Glued the hands to the arms. I hate cyanoacrylate. Very difficult to position the hands correctly. Next time everything is going to be part of the original armature. Rudimentary masses and fixing things in place with green stuff.

This "Evil Genius" is really getting "there" I have to "say".

One thing to remember, if you're planning to have your figures cast then superglue is a no no. It will liquefy during vulcanization and can ruin the mold.
DOH!! Now he tells me...

Thank you, sir. Since I will at most do an RTV mold this is not really a hindrance but it might be useful to know someday.
Keep going!! I'm please with him too.
Thanks! I will! Here's today's "update":
Added "sleeves". Still remains to bulk up the torso as he looks very lanky, touch up the shoe soles and add a base tab.

Coming along nicely! Outdoor pics give good lighting for me. Keep'em coming.
Yeah. The outdoor lighting is the best so far. Might make a lighting box thing later.
Fattened up a bit:

You can never have too many minis!!
:D
I'm sure many wives will disagree.
Well. Here he is with the soles "fixed" and a tab and in a base.

Starting on the next guy.
