This is the first mini in my Kargir army for ReaperCon. I haven't picked up a brush since the last con, so I'm a bit rusty. It felt good to be modelling again. It'll be a mad dash this month to get everything done in time for the Warlord tournament.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the army with paint like this.

That's amazing job. The skulpt is great and your paint has really brought it to life! Good work, I too hope to get a peek at the entire army.

@joshuaslater, Pole, agooga: Thank you for the kind words. It's going to take a ton of work to get everything finished in time, but I'll try.

@Stubbdog: I'd hate to set him up for failure in the paint job before he even sees the field of battle. You've got to go into things with a positive attitude. :)

I considered going with a snow effect on the base (Savage North and all), but decided against it at the last minute. I can still add some later on. It looks pretty cool when done well. I've never tried before, so did not trust in my ability to execute. I took a great Basic Basing class at last year's Con with Alison, but snow effects did not come up (if it did, sorry Alison, it was early morning and I guess it didn't stick). I need to peruse the Gallery to see if one of the staff painters has created a snow effect I like and speak with them at this year's Con to borrow some ideas.
