This is the third mini I've painted. She was completed for my fiance in the second of two Pathfinder games we play in. She loves purple so I used that as the basis for the colour scheme and chose my silver and gold to complement. Hope you guys aren't getting too tired of my massive pics lol there's a few more to come after this post. C&C welcome!IMG_2266.JPG IMG_2267.JPG IMG_2268.JPG IMG_2269.JPG IMG_2270.JPG

It looks nice, your fiance must be very pleased with her gift.

My only advice would be to try to apply thiner layers of paint.
I think it would help you to keep the smaller details like the hair of the model.

To do so, I usually use a very simple technique.
Instead of applying the paint directly onto the miniature, it is sometimes better to dilute the paint a bit.
Do not add water directly into the paint it would be a mistake.

You can mix some paint on a plastic and moisten your brush on a wet paper towel (sheets of toilet paper with some water in a bowl).
Don't dip you brush straight into water (if you do so you will have too much water in your bristles and the paint will run on the miniature).
When mixing the paint, use the side of the bristles from your brush to avoid damaging the tip.

This was a very useful tip to me and I hope it will help you.

It looks great! This is one of my favorite Reaper minis and it's always a treat to see a new interpretation of it. The only thing I would suggest would be deeper shades on the purple. Of course they may be there and I am just not seeing them on my monitor. Again great job!

simple, but neat paintjob. maybe it's time add something more with your next painting attempt? try to increase contrast between highlights and shadows while maintaining a smooth transition at the same time ::):

Thanks everyone! Nameless, I agree with you totally. The mini I'm currently working on should fill the bill.
