Is anyone else having problems with the Power Palette, or am I just doing something wrong. I uploaded a picture of a figure that is currently on my workbench (someone else's of course) to get an idea of the colors they used, because I like the color scheme (at least as a starting point) and all I am getting is Blue Liner from the blue background in the photo. I uploaded the pic twice and even clicked refreash.

Well, if it's any comfort. Yes, the power pallet isn't working for me either.

Power Palette is working fine for me, at least through the inspiration gallery.

I'm using IE9 on Win7x64

I've had problems recently with using it on my laptop.
Win XP SP3, IE8.

But I had no problems using it on my wife's computer (a much newer Mac), so I just presumed it was an issue with my computer being old and slow. I just figured I missed a relevant update or something. Apparently if other people are also having the same sort of issue, it's more than just my old POS laptop.

I have the same issue. I load a picture into the power palette, and I get the color options for the upper left corner of the picture. I can move the targetting reticle around the picture, but the color remains frozen on that spot and never changes. I did adjust image size both dimensions, and memory-wise as well.

I have another computer that it works on, so it hasn't been a serious issue for me.

Thanks guys, since my laptop with IE 8 (?) is my only option, short of going to use the comps at my alma mater (just down the street so no biggie), I guess I will have to figure it out the old fashion way.

Ya it's an IE8 thing. When I place IE9 into compatibility mode (which mimics IE8 behavior for code) the power pallet doesn't work.

You can try firefox or chrome as they should work on XP. If you're using Win7 you can upgrade IE.

Yet another reason Vista sucks. I will try to upgrade to IE9 but I just got me machine back from the shop so I am a little leary ::(: ::(:
