Hey all.
Got a Space Hulk 3e set and I want to paint those orange plastic Terminator minis up. I'm a little leery of just diving right in because these are irreplaceable (at my budget, anyway) and I wanna do it right the first time. Given the color of the plastic, what's the best approach to take do you think?

I'd probably just spray-prime them like any other mini and go from there.

I'd give them a wash in warm soapy water first and let them dry overnight. The spray prime them. You do not have to obliterate the orange plastic , just get a nice light even coat of primer. There are multiple threads on this forum that discuss what kind of primer to use. I favor Duplicolor grey sandable auto primer from an auto parts store. It goes on fine and light.

I use Reaper brush-on primer cut 50/50 with water and delivered through a gravity fed airbrush. Very easy to get a light even coating of primer.
