[Darkreach Phil]

Here one of my build. I know there is not alot of units but I like the versatility of this build. I really enjoy the drake troops they have the ability to move long distance with mounted and with cleave + swift attack they can be devastating. I also really like the shiver spike with there long range attack and the cleave SA. Masjestrix with her unique power over initiave and some powerful spells is great.Finally, there is all the blink units in this build that can give you somme powerfull combo with the use of swap...

Nothing wrong with running with 4 troops at 1K. As I'm sure you are aware, the achilles heel of the list is the general lack of numbers (16 models total), and a specific lack of soliders to run interference for the casters and ranged models (which make up 1/3 of the list). It is a shame that there is little to take advantage of Majestrix's Incite spell in Troop 1. I'd wonder about retooling it slightly to be more like:

You gain a model (at the cost of some of your toys), and can now use the Incite spell to get off a Rush Attack with the Drakes if you desire.

Thanks for the advice,I'll try this and maybe I'll do another adjustment by switching the shadow demon with another phase cat and adding another shadowstep:

So...I'm slowly falling for some of the models and the rules for this army, though the lack of different poses is giving me a bit of pause. I've pulled a handful of likely proxys out of the DH line, but it seems like the Darkreach models are somewhat taller than average and I don't want a bunch of models looking like dwarves next to the Darkreach line models. Am I wrong?

I've thrown together a list just to see how many/what kind of models I'd being looking at, but I've no real idea of the synergies and such of this army:

Thilinos is the right size and the size difference is pretty small. so just roll with it.

Not a bad list to start with. Decent mixing of models. Since you have 5 troops already, I might lean towards trying to get a familiar for one of the casters instead of the Book of Tactics. But, it might cause a model change here or there.

One proxy I have already cemented in for myself is the use of 60028 as my shadow dragon:

Anyone else trying to figure who to use 60130: Diabolist as a proxy for? I think she'd paint up great as a dark elf.

As I don't really care for Darkreach, I'm going to say Thuusia. That is a nice figure though.

Oh, good call, Jeff. And since Thuusia is non-unique... I like it! Regardless of where she ends up, I'll use her with one of my armies.

That's a very nice mini, and I agree would make a great alt Thuusia. I'm not a fan of the skull/flame in her hand, so I'd probably replace it with a familiar similar to the one on her shoulder.

Is there someone who using proxy for the 14627 Arachnilith since there is no model. After looking around the store the only suitable proxy for my taste is this one:

i was also curious about the release of the figurine, I know you guys have alot of things on your plate with bones but I don't really feel like buying a figurine just for the purpose of doing a proxy since i don't play DarkSpawn...is this model would come out in 2012 or later. I suppose this is not the kind of info you gone give on a forum but who knows !?!
